I don't design to make things look good. I design to make things work for the person on the other side of the screen, probably frustrated, probably in a hurry, just trying to get something done.

My journey started with code. Early on I chased visuals - things that looked impressive in a Dribbble screenshot. It took real users to teach me that none of that matters if the flow doesn't make sense. That lesson changed everything.

Now I'm the person who spends a Sunday on one transition because it isn't quite right yet. Who asks what happens when the user is confused or doing this for the first time before anyone else thinks to ask.

I hold a BICT (Hons) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Google UX Design Certificate. At Majstro Solutions I've designed 10+ SaaS products - each one a system, not just a set of screens. My 2+ years with Next.js means I build the designs too, not hand them off.

I do my best work early - when the product is still being figured out and there's still room to ask whether we're solving the right problem at all.

Beyond the work, I care about how technology affects people, animals, and the planet. Good design shouldn't just convert. It should leave things a little better than it found them.
